Nez Perce county clerk elected head of Idaho Association of Counties

Patty Weeks was elected to the Idaho Association of Counties’ top post at the group’s annual conference in Boise.

Weeks, who has been county clerk since 1999, was installed as board president, succeeding Erwin Sonnenberg, Ada County Coroner. Weeks holds a degree in political science from Boise State University and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho. Weeks practiced law for 6½ years until she won the position of clerk of the District Court in Nez Perce County.
