The Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, has expanded its pre-check screening program to include frequent travelers who use the Boise Airport. A ribbon-cutting to mark this milestone was held Oct. 24 at the security checkpoint at the Boise Airport. Cutting the ribbon are City Councilor Lauren McLean, Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bill Connors, and Airport Director Rebecca Hupp (in red suit).
The program will improve security by allowing TSA to focus resources where they are needed the most, said Hupp.
“Further, this will be a terrific time saver for eligible passengers and will greatly improve the customer experience,” she said.
