Golf professionals from Falcon Crest and Shadow Valley golf courses donated their time to provide a free golf clinic to disabled veterans Oct. 5.

The 25 veterans gathered at Falcon Crest Golf Course in Kuna to learn the basic skills of golf as part of the Veterans Administration’s Down Range Golf Program, according to a news release. At the end of the clinic, the veterans received plans tailored to their specific needs. The plans are designed to help the veterans integrate golf into their daily lives, encouraging them to be more active and healthy.
