The Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation, a sister organization of the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Wells Fargo awarded $25,000 in total funds to 11 students to further their education goals in the 2013-2014 school year. In addition, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce received $700,000 in Wells Fargo grant monies, with distributions planned for local chambers.

The Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation was organized in 2006 and has given more than 20 scholarships to help overcome the financial barriers that many Latino students face.

Also contributing to training and educational programs, the USHCC announced a $700,000 grant from Wells Fargo during National Hispanic Heritage Month, as part of a $1.8 million Wells Fargo commitment.

The 11 Idaho scholarship winners for 2013 were selected from 94 applicants statewide.
