Idaho Power and the Arbor Day Foundation donated 20 trees planted by Timberline High School’s Advanced Placement environmental science class and TREE Club on Oct. 30.

The trees were left over from Idaho Power’s Shade Tree Project, which was designed to encourage residential customers to plant trees for energy savings. Students learned how to properly plant trees to help reduce energy needed for summer cooling and for environmental benefits.
