Spay Neuter Idaho Pets Inc. raised money to spay and neuter dogs and cats at the “Hooters for Neuters” event at Hooters restaurant on Oct. 30. They raised $497, which is enough to spay or neuter nine dogs and cats.

SNIP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted dogs and cats in the Treasure Valley, through low-cost spay and neuter services, education and encouraging animal rescue groups to work together.

On the day of the event, Hooters of Boise donated $1 from every bottle of beer sold between noon and 10 p.m. to SNIP and provided a coupon for $6 off a Hooters Helps Burger Platter for anyone who purchased a raffle ticket.
