Wells Fargo awarded $7,500 to the U.S. Green Building Council for Idaho for its annual Green School Challenge, which began Sep. 28 and concludes next spring.

The USGBC challenges students to form a team to “green” the school, which can result in lower operating costs and will positively affect students, teachers and community. The program is in its second year, and 10 schools from across the state are participating.
