Clarification: Romanian Immigration Fraud story
In a story Nov. 24, the Idaho Business Review ran an Associated Press story that reported Florin Fleischer, the Romanian owner of a Ketchum home theater company, would be unwinding his Home Media Solutions business in advance of his likely deportation after pleading guilty to immigration fraud. Kevin Carey, the company’s founder and salesman, said Nov. 25 that the business will be run by others after Fleischer’s departure. Additionally, the AP reported Claudia Luminita Beian, another Romanian who pleaded guilty to immigration fraud, owns the Lunchbox waxing salon. She is a part-owner of the business.
