The P16 Caldwell Education Project will receive monthly funding from Republic Services and the City of Caldwell. Curbside recycling costs subscribers $4.95 a month. The city will send $1 from each payment directly to P16. On Oct. 29, to mark the beginning of the monthly funding, students participated in a hands-on recycling activity with local leaders (l-r) Marvin Henberg, College of Idaho president; Theresa Hardin, Caldwell Chamber of Commerce executive director; Dave Fisher Republic Services general manager; Josh Williamson, P16 Caldwell Education Project director; Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas; and Jim Everett, Treasure Valley Family YMCA CEO.
