During the month of October, a number of Idaho businesses including Framed!, Idaho Banking Company, D.L. Evans Bank, Collins Fine Jewelry and Group One Realty helped to collect more than 550 hats, 60 wigs and 50 scarves that were delivered to the American Cancer Society.

The hats, wigs and scarves are intended to help women and children undergoing treatment for cancer and other diseases that ravage the head and hair, according to a news release.

The project was coordinated by Paula Miller, of Framed!, in memory of her sister.
