Six Idaho attorneys were honored on Nov. 14 by their peers in the Idaho State Bar, at its Annual Resolution Meeting held at the Red Lion Hotel Downtowner in Boise.
Audrey Numbers, Victoria Loegering, Kirsten Ocker and Erika Birch will receive the Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award, which is given to attorneys who exemplify the spirit of public service and access to justice by performing pro bono service.
Numbers donated more than 100 hours to help a mother who lost custody of her children in her divorce, taking the case to trial and winning a favorable resolution for her client. Loegering and Ocker donated 246 hours to help a mother work out a custody sharing agreement for her children. Birch donated more than 60 hours to develop the Street Law Clinic in Boise.
Scott Hess, of Holland & Hart, and Debora Kristensen, of Givens Pursley, will be recognized with Professionalism Awards, which are given for exemplary legal work reflecting the best in the profession.
