The Idaho Stampede has finalized its front office staff for the 2013-14 season. The staff includes Travis Forrest and Sam Johnson as account executives, Ty Carter as the media and public relations coordinator, and Ben Perez-Pringle as the head athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach.
Forrest’s responsibilities include sales of sponsorships, season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets and suites, as well as assisting with ticketing and game-day operations. He spent the last five years as a habilitative interventionist/developmental specialist with Community Partnerships of Idaho working with children with special needs. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Northwest Nazarene University and his master’s degree in sports management and administration from Liberty University.
Johnson’s responsibilities consist of selling season tickets, group outings, suites and working game-day operations. He attended the University of Oregon where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sports business.
Carter’s responsibilities include working with community partners in coordinating community outreach events, editing all team publications, and serving as the team’s liaison to the media. He earned his degree in communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he also wrote for the university newspaper.
Perez-Pringle previously served as the certified athletic training intern for the Portland Trail Blazers from 2007 to 2009 before leaving to join the Maine Red Claws as head athletic trainer from 2009 to 2011. He also spent time as an assistant athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach at the University of San Francisco athletic department. He is working toward his Master of Kinesiology degree from San Francisco State University.
