Credit Union League president leaves after short stint in Idaho

Chris Johnson-Credit unionsIdaho Credit Union League President and CEO Chris Johnson has left his job after just five months.

Johnson, who started work in June, left on Nov. 22, according to interim president Kathy Thomson.

Thomson, formerly a vice president with ICUL, said the league’s board has not decided yet on how to replace Johnson. Johnson succeeded former president and CEO Alan Cameron, who retired in 2013 after leading the organization since 2000 and working for the organization since 1977.

ICUL is a statewide organization serving the state’s credit unions. In 2012, Idaho had 51 credit unions.
