Construction of a new Starbucks in Nampa is moving forward.
Framing work has begun on the 1,672-square-foot, stand-alone coffee house and drive-thru at 1324 12th Avenue Road. Radix Construction project manager Chris Collett said the exterior of the building will look similar to other Starbucks locations in the Treasure Valley. Plans call for tall walls, a stucco exterior, dry stacked stone and window awnings. The project also includes a small patio area.
Very cold weather has forced construction crews to rely on ground heaters to get slabs placed at the site. Freiheit & Ho Architects is the architect. Radix Construction is the general contractor. Completion is scheduled for February.
