The 2013 Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge provided $233,469 to 31 organizations that provide essential housing services to Idaho families.
Ten corporate sponsors contributed during the 22-day fundraising effort that ended Dec. 31.
Idaho nonprofits will share at total of $233,469 to provide critical resources for the homeless or other services.
The Home Partnership Foundation organization, created by Idaho Housing and Finance Association, leads the annual campaign. Sponsors include AmericanWest Bank, Bank of Idaho, Barclays Capital, Citigroup, Citizens Community Bank, Idaho Housing and Finance Association, KeyBank Foundation, Mountain West Bank, The Bank of Commerce, and Wells Fargo.
The total donations and grants to nonprofit organizations participating in the Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge were distributed as follows: southwestern Idaho, $157,881; southeastern Idaho, $56,625; northern Idaho, $18,963.
