Good Works: AT&T gives to the Girl Scouts

Thanks to a $5,000 grant from AT&T Idaho, the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage will combine outdoor fun and adventure with science, technology, engineering and math programming this summer at Camp Alice Pittenger, located in McCall.

STEM is one of many special topics offered by Girl Scouts to promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills and applied learning. In addition to local STEM programs, AT&T supports the Girl Scouts National STEM initiative through a $1 million contribution to “Imagine Your STEM Future,” a program designed to reach underserved girls.
