The fourth Annual Warm Hearts, Toasty Toes sock drive has concluded, and Icon Credit Union has collected nearly 3,500 pairs of socks.

The recipients of the socks include Big Brothers, Big Sisters; the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County; the Women’s and Children’s Alliance; and the Boise Homeless Veterans Programs.

The sock drive ran from Nov. 12 to Jan. 18. The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage partnered with Icon Credit Union to create a variety of donation events to bring in socks. Altogether, nearly 100 scouts and more than 30 troop leaders and Icon employees participated.

The sock drive also received support from the Boise Towne Square Mall, Fred Meyer, Costco, Payette Brewing Company and Joe’s Crab Shack.
