Idahoan leads alcohol control board

Jeffrey R. Anderson, director of the Idaho State Liquor Division, is the 2014 chairman of the board of directors for the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association.

In 2010, Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter appointed Anderson director of the ISLD, and he began serving on the NABCA board. He is chairman of the finance committee. He has previously been chairman of NABCA’s information technology and internal affairs committees and has been a member of eight other NABCA committees, including governance, broker advisory and public affairs.

Anderson also is director of the Idaho Lottery, secretary of the board of directors of the Multi-State Lottery Association and vice-chairman of the MUSL Powerball Game Group.

Anderson received his Bachelor of Business Administration from California State University-Chico.
