While the Accomplished Under 40 program is not about numbers, there are a number of them to bandy about.

The Idaho Business Review is celebrating the 15th anniversary of honoring 40 Idaho men and women who have been recognized by their peers as accomplished under the age of 40. This year, 153 were nominated and 78 completed applications. A panel of eight past honorees winnowed the list down to determine 40 names. The applicants were scored from 1 to 5 in four categories: professional accomplishments, leadership skills, community involvement and long-term goals. The 40 top scorers made the list.

“These young professionals are talented and have risen head and shoulders above others, already proving they are successful in their careers and continuing upward,” said Sean Evans, vice president and publisher for Idaho Business Review. “These are the people shaping our state, our expectations and our future.”

In honor of the 15th anniversary, Evans is encouraging past honorees from years 1 to 14 to attend this year’s event. He said a number of past honorees will also be featured in the program presentation.

Honorees will be featured in the 2014 Accomplished Under 40 magazine published with the June 27 Idaho Business Review. The awards event, featuring a networking social hour and banquet, will be held at the Boise Centre June 26. For tickets, visit https://idahobusinessreview.com/events/au40/.
