More than 40 volunteers from the Boise Sunrise Rotary Club commemorated Rotary Founders Day with a day of service at Hope House in Marsing April 26.
Hope House exists to give a home to children who are emotionally impaired, developmentally disabled or come from disrupted adoptions and dysfunctional families. About 50 children, ages 6 to 18, live there, as well as young adults with disabilities who grew up at Hope House. Their mission is to provide a family atmosphere, with the hope that through love, structured activities, appropriate discipline, educational and vocational opportunities, and attentive adults, young people can reach their full potential.
