The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation presented The Idaho Foodbank with a check for $10,000 on Mar. 31.
More than 60,000 people in eastern Idaho need help to put food on their tables.
“Rocky Mountain Power Foundation didn’t just help The Idaho Foodbank today,” says the Foodbank’s Pocatello Branch Manager Rebecca Ristrem, in a news release. “In a very real sense, this donation will help get much-needed food into some of the most remote and under-served communities in Idaho.”
With every dollar The Idaho Foodbank receives from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, the organization will be able to provide the food needed for three meals, for a total of 30,000 meals.
