Nancy Napier has been named chairwoman of the board of United Heritage Property & Casualty Company, one of the four subsidiaries of United Heritage Financial Group. She joined the board in 2007 and has served as vice chair since 2011.
Napier is professor of strategy and the director of the Centre for Creativity and Innovation at Boise State University. She also serves as an adjunct professor for Aalborg University in Denmark.
Napier is widely recognized as an author on organizational creativity and innovation and her articles are published nationally.
From 1994 to 2003, Napier managed Boise State’s involvement in an $8.5 million capacity building project at the National Economics University in Hanoi, Vietnam, funded by the Swedish International Cooperation Development Agency and USAID. She was awarded Vietnam’s Medal of Honor for contribution to education in 2011.
Napier was co-creator and host of Idaho Business Matters for six years, a weekday radio program airing on KBSX NPR News 91. She appears as a regular guest on KTVB Television’s Your Business, contributor to the Idaho Statesman Business Insider, guest blogger for Psychology Today, and guest columnist for Forbes Vietnam.
