Saint Alphonsus Health System hires new chief clinical officer

James Lederer 4.38.44 PMSaint Alphonsus Health System has hired James W. Lederer, Jr., M.D. as chief clinical officer and vice president of quality and safety.

Lederer was hired from Novant Health Corporate in Winston Salem, N.C., where he has served as vice president of clinical improvement since 1994.  Lederer received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and his M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency in combined medicine and pediatrics at the University of Tennessee, and also served a two-year fellowship in infectious diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
