Jessica Evett has been hired to fill the position of general manager at Radio Boise. She will begin leading the organization this month. She replaces outgoing founder and general manager, Jeff Abrams, who will remain on the Radio Boise board of directors.
Evett has 15 years of nonprofit and federal agency experience at levels ranging from wilderness ranger to executive director. Most recently, she was the founder and principal consultant for Owl Call Consulting and Communications, which provides communications and public relations services. Earlier, she served as executive director of the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District in Silverthorne, Colo.
Evett graduated from the College of Idaho with a BA in psychology and creative writing. She holds an MA in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Denver.
