Treasure Valley Education Partnership is one of 20 groups across the nation to receive $240,000 of funding and technical support from the Lumina Foundation.
TVEP provides local investment, leadership and support from pre-kindergarten through postsecondary studies. Through the grant, it will receive significant technical and planning assistance, data tools and flexible funding.
“As a local partner in TVEP, it’s very meaningful to see a national organization recognize the scope, strength and results of our local partnership,” said Dee Mooney, executive director of the Micron Foundation, a member of the partnership. “There’s lots of work to be done, but experts from all over this valley are sitting down together to make it happen.”
Funders of TVEP include Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Micron Foundation and Wharton Foundation.
