Zions Bank employees gave a makeover to the Boise home of 63-year-old Bruce Holland on June 8, during NeighborWorks Boise’s 33rd annual Paint The Town service project. The event culminated on June 13 with 1,200 community volunteers painting and fixing up the homes of 50 senior and disabled residents in southwest Idaho.

Paint The Town takes place in June each year.

  1. I’m new to Boise and I never fail to be amazed at the spirit of goodwill and community service in Boise. A very sweet young girl in my neighborhood surprised me by shoveling my driveway over the winter and watered my flowers for me when I was on vacation and neither asked for nor expected anything in return. She did it “just to be nice” and in the spirit of community service. I’m so happy I decided to live in Boise among such nice people! I love it here!
