Dave Evans Construction expects to start building a 108-unit apartment complex in Garden City in about two months.
The “50th Street Apartments,” as they are now named, will be located between 50th Street and the Boise River, owner Dave Evans said.
The $12 million project will include one- and two-bedroom apartments in five buildings. They will offer 750 and 1,100 square feet, respectively, with rents estimated at $895 and $995 per month.
The apartment building will sit on the Greenbelt and “it’s going to be a lot of younger people,” Evans predicted.
Evans built most of the Riverside Village homes in Garden City and some 45 commercial buildings across the Treasure Valley, including the Riverside Business Park.
He expects to complete construction of the 50th Street Apartments in late 2016 or early 2017.
