The wealth management and investment firm Raymond James and Associates is opening a 3,500-square-foot office for its private client group on the top floor of the Owyhee Building in downtown Boise.
When renovations are completed on the space in late fall, the new office will have seven to 12 financial advisors and five to eight support staff, said Todd Lovell, a financial planner who is the branch manager of the new Boise office.
“Boise is a growing market and we have had a tremendous amount of interest from advisors looking to work for a non-bank-owned brokerage firm,” Lovell said.
Raymond James, a publicly traded holding company in St. Petersburg, Fla., has more than 6,500 financial advisors in the U.S. and overseas, including a half-dozen in Boise, according to the company’s website. Lovell described the private client group office he’s opening as a “traditional-style brokerage office.”
