Lawyer Steven Berenter, community member Keli Elledge and loan officer Brandy Stemmler have joined the board of the Women’s and Children’s Alliance.
Officers elected for the 2015-2016 term include board President Darrel Anderson, President-Elect Bill Bodnar, Vice President Debbie Wachtell, Secretary Jan Bennetts, Treasurer Jodi Whittaker, and Past President Laura Cobb.
Berenter is a partner at Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley. He received a BA from Stanford University and a juris doctor from University of Washington. He is a former board member for the Boise Chamber of Commerce and Idaho Business for Education.
Elledge has served in a volunteer role for the last two decades including with the Bishop Kelly High School Foundation board, FUNDSY, Treasure Valley YMCA, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, the Children’s Museum of Idaho, the University of Idaho Foundation board and the Idaho Community Foundation.
Stemmler is a loan officer for National Residential Mortgage in Boise. She holds a BA from Baylor University. Brandy serves on the Saint Alphonsus Foundation Board as a member of the Executive Committee, the Scholarship Chair, and former board chair. She also served on the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Advisory Council, was board chair for the Idaho Humane Society, and served on the board of directors for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival from 2005 to 2014.
