The American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific has appointed Allison Hickey as president and chief executive officer effective December 1. She will be responsible for continued growth and operational excellence across the region, which comprises Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. Hickey succeeds CEO Renée Klein.
Hickey brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and business sectors. She served as an executive director of the American Diabetes Association in California. Earlier she served as a marketing consultant for Fortune 500 companies including Disney, Burger King, Taco Bell, Warner Brothers, Mitsubishi and Nextel. She has additional nonprofit experience with the YMCA in Tennessee.
Hickey holds a BS in business administration from the University of Redlands in California.
