Rich Garber to lobby for Idaho Grain Producers

Rich Garber croppedRich Garber has been hired to lobby for the Idaho Grain Producers Association.

Garber worked for 20 years as the third generation owner/operator of his family’s farm just outside of Nampa and has also served as a director and president of the IGPA. After farming, he established Garber Associates and for eight years provided association management, consulting, and lobbying services to several Idaho-based commodity associations.

For the last 15 years, he has been with the University of Idaho’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, most recently has industry relations and government affairs director.

Garber will start working with IGPA in January, said Executive Director Stacey Katseanes Satterlee.
