Community Development Corporation executives take leadership positions on national boards

Heidi DeArment, vice president and CFO of Montana and Idaho Community Development Corporation, has been appointed vice chairman of the New Markets Tax Credit Coalition. The NMTC was designed to increase the flow of capital to businesses and low-income communities by providing a tax incentive to private investors.

President and CEO of Montana and Idaho CDC Dave Glaser has been appointed vice chairman of Opportunity Finance Network, a national network of Community Development Financial Institutions, which provides affordable lending to businesses, projects, and people who are not eligible for bank loans.
