Diego Rodriguez, a partner at IDEO, an award-winning global design firm that uses a design-thinking approach, is the newest professor of the practice at Boise State University’s College of Innovation and Design.
Rodriguez is a founding professor at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University, a former entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School, a visiting scientist at the MIT Media Lab and author of the metacool blog. He holds multiple patents and has received a Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award. In 2010, Fortune named him one of ‘The Smartest People in Tech.’
Boise State is IDEO’s beta partner for the launch of IDEO U course content distributed within higher education. Gordon Jones, dean of CID, is teaching the first IDEO U course this semester.
