The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce welcomed business members of the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce to Boise the week of May 16 for a trade mission. Led by Imanol Pradales, economic minister of the Basque Territory of Bizkaia, the mission was a step in implementing the partnership established last summer when the Boise Metro Chamber and the Greater Bilbao Chamber of Commerce signed an agreement to become sister Chambers.

Chamber-member companies participating in the meetings included Intermountain Gas, Micron Technology, Washington Trust Bank, SUEZ, Eiguren Ellis Public Policy, Oppenheimer Companies, Boise State University, Power Engineers, Idaho Policy and Consulting, and AeroLEDS.

The Basque trade mission to Idaho will be followed by an Idaho mission to the Basque Country in 2017.
