Caroline Stivers directs development at Radio Boise

Caroline_StiversCaroline Stivers is the new development director for Radio Boise, a community radio station where volunteer programmers broadcast from downtown Boise.

Stivers has eight years of experience in arts and nonprofit administration. As executive director of the Salmon Arts Council from 2013 to 2015, she  oversaw the promotion of arts and culture for the residents of rural Lemhi County through the presentation of touring performing artists, community workshops, artist professional development, and arts education in the schools. Prior to that, she spent six years managing operations for educational support programs for first-generation students at the University of New Orleans.

Stivers has worked in the curatorial and education departments of the Yale University Art Gallery, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and the San Antonio Museum of Art. She earned her Masters in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and her BA in classics and art history from Wesleyan University.

Stivers serves on the board of directors of Surel’s Place,  a nonprofit artist in residency program in Boise.
