Boise advertising executive Mike Kerby has been recognized with the American Advertising Federation Silver Medal, presented by the Idaho Advertising Federation at its annual Rockies Award ceremony in May. The AAF Silver Medal Award is presented annually by IAF to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to advertising by furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence, and responsibility in areas of social concern.
Kerby is president of c308 Marketing, a digital marketing agency he founded in 2003. He is past president of the Boise Advertising Federation and has served as chairman of the IAF board of directors since 2011. In this role, he has led industry efforts in the state to promote and protect the advertising profession in multiple venues that include educational programs, professional development, and legislative initiatives. In addition, Kerby has often judged creative advertising competitions across the west and has helped to produce award presentations for AAF National Student Advertising Competition.
A graduate of the University of Idaho, Kerby began his marketing career as a member of the U of I student team that placed first in AAF Northwest Student Advertising Competition in 1996.
