Idaho Statesman names Rhonda Prast new top editor

An editor from the Kansas City Star has been named the new top editor for the Idaho Statesman.

Rhonda PrastThe Boise newspaper reported that Rhonda Prast, assistant managing editor for digital at the Kansas City Star, will begin her new job as Statesman editor and vice president on Aug. 1. She worked as a page designer and magazine art director at the Miami Herald and Seattle Times before joining the Minneapolis Star in 1999. She focused on print journalism before shifting to digital journalism in 2006.
