The Harry W. Morrison Foundation has given the Treasure Valley Family YMCA the home of the late Velma Morrison. Located at 3505 West Crescent Rim Drive, the 12,000-square-foot home sits on an acre above Ann Morrison Park in Boise. It’s on the market for $1.9 million.  All profits from the sale of the home, built in 1992, will directly support the Y’s Capital Campaign for a new, full-sized Y facility in South Meridian.

The Harry W. Morrison Foundation was established to help Idaho non-profit organizations that demonstrate improvement in many areas, including humanitarian, educational, and community service causes.

In addition to the Morrison Foundation gift, several substantial contributions have been made in support of the project from area foundations, including the JA and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation, the Rebholtz Family Foundation, the Kissler Family Foundation, and the Micron Foundation.
