The Boise Airport held a ribbon cutting ceremony for American Airlines’ new nonstop service from Boise to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport June 2. The daily flight is operated by American Airlines using a 128 seat Airbus A319 aircraft. American Airlines now serves two destinations from Boise: Phoenix and Dallas.

The inaugural flight included a ceremonial water arch, where the Boise Fire Department Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting team created an arch of water over the plane as it taxied to the runway. Photo courtesy of Boise Airport.
