Larry H. Miller Charities presented a $7,500 check to Charitable Assistance to Community’s Homeless (C.A.T.C.H.) on Aug. 3 at Larry H. Miller Honda in Boise. Funding will assist homeless families in becoming established again, including providing application fees, move-in assistance, basic household items and employment assistance.
“We strive to end homelessness for families by providing them the stability of a home and the supportive care needed to address the root causes of their homeless episode,” said Wyatt Schroeder, executive director, C.A.T.C.H. “With this donation, we’ll be able to provide approximately $175 to 42 families for basic household necessities, move-in costs and to cover transportation assistance to and from jobs.”
