Mike Reynoldson has been promoted to vice president of governmental affairs at Blue Cross of Idaho. In his new role, Reynoldson will be responsible for policy strategy of the business, government relations and legislative counsel.
When Reynoldson joined Blue Cross of Idaho in 2015 as the director of governmental affairs, he had more than 24 years of policy, government affairs and political campaign management experience. Through his work for Blue Cross of Idaho and similar positions he held for both Micron Technology, Inc. and Qwest Communications, he spearheaded successful public policy initiatives including strengthening Idaho high school math and science standards, establishing protections against frivolous lawsuits by patent trolls, and modernizing Idaho sales, income and property tax policy to encourage business investment.
He serves on the Idaho Association of Commerce of Industry board of directors, the College of Western Idaho Foundation board of directors and the Idaho Governor’s Cup board of directors. Reynoldson grew up in Parma and graduated from Boise State University in 1990 with a degree in marketing.
