Debbie Larson is director of the ICU at the new St. Luke’s Nampa

debbie-larsonLongtime St. Luke’s nursing leader Debbie Larson has been chosen as director of the ICU at the new St. Luke’s Nampa.

An 11-year employee of St. Luke’s, Larson has worked for the health system as a system manager of clinical learning and student services, supervisor of credentialed classes and clinical instructor. At St. Luke’s Meridian, Larson was a clinical supervisor of critical care & telemetry and an RN/charge nurse of the critical care unit.

Previously, Larson was a staff nurse, charge nurse and assistant manager of ICU/CCU and medical surgical units in Northern California.

Larson received the 2016 St. Luke’s Health System President’s Award and has been awarded both a Vision Scholarship Award and President’s Award by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is co-chair of the St. Luke’s System Nursing Research Council. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Humboldt State University and a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in education from Idaho State University.
