Diana Schow chosen as director of Idaho State University’s area health education center

Diana Campanella Schow has been chosen as director of the Idaho State University Institute of Rural Health’s area health education center, created to increase access to primary care in southeastern Idaho’s rural communities. Since joining ISU in 2002, Schow has served as coordinator of the Hispanic Health Projects, as a grants specialist, and as an adjunct lecturer in the department of anthropology and ISU honors program.

Schow holds a doctorate degree in physical activity and public health from Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, where she served as a research associate. She also holds master’s degrees in medical anthropology and health education from Idaho State University, and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and public relations from University of Utah.
