Carrie Corson, an Idaho Power meter specialist in Nampa, was awarded Idaho Power’s Presidential Award for Safety for two potentially life-saving events in a two-week span last spring. Acting on a concern she had when seeing footsteps in the snow, she found an elderly man unconscious on the ground and called paramedics. The following week she intervened and called 911 when she witnessed a violent domestic altercation underway.
