The Boise Hawks minor league baseball team held an event for kids from St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and the Miracle League of Payette where kids got a chance to bat and interact with the area’s star players. Each child received a t-shirt and the Hawks provided free tickets so that the children and families could attend the evening’s game.

St. Luke’s is a sponsor of the Miracle League of Payette. The Miracle League program provides an opportunity for individuals with mental and/or physical challenges to play baseball on a specially designed artificial turf surface friendly to wheelchairs.
