Rastegar received an undergraduate degree and executive MBA from Boise State University. He has experience in sales, marketing, product management, acquisitions, and other areas at Boise startups since the early 2000’s. He most recently worked as senior integration program manager at the Boise-area software company Vacasa, and before working at Vacasa spent 11 years as program manager and then director of marketing at PKG User Interface Solutions in Meridian.
Trailhead was launched three years ago by local software entrepreneurs, and is supported by the city of Boise and corporations including Micron. The board said in a statement that under Tiam’s leadership the nonprofit will focus on building a community and stronger entrepreneurial network; connecting startups to mentors and experts; delivering educational programming; and operating a co-working space.
