The College of Idaho held a groundbreaking ceremony on Sept. 6 for the Smith Welcoming Arches. Students, staff, faculty and community members attended. The ceremony honored donors Dr. James Smith and College of Idaho trustee Mary Smith. The construction of the Welcome Arches is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2018.
