Laura Kendall appointed executive director of the Velma V. Morrison Center

Laura Kendall has been appointed executive director of the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts at Boise State University. She has 18 years of arts administration experience, most recently serving as the vice president for programming and education at Omaha Performing Arts.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre and film and a master’s degree in marketing, communication and advertising from the University of Nebraska, as well as a certificate in curatorial practice in performance from Wesleyan University. She is a graduate of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals Leadership Fellows Program and routinely speaks at national conferences about arts presenting issues.
