Michael Evans has been promoted to commercial loan officer at D.L. Evans Bank at the Boise Vista branch. Evans has held various positions within the bank over the years. Evans, a fifth-generation banker, is a great-great-grandson of the D.L. Evans Bank founder, David Lloyd (D. L.) Evans. In his new position as commercial loan officer, Evans will be helping his customers with all of their commercial and agricultural lending needs.
He is involved in his community by being a part of the Capitol City Networking Club, Depot Beach Neighborhood Association, Ada County Development Services, and the Epilepsy Foundation. He has also volunteered his time at Taft Elementary, been a part of Savor Idaho, the Girls Scouts of Silver Sage Luncheon, and Light the Night.
Dirk Stanger has been promoted to vice president branch manager for the Ammon branch, as Ray Parkinson has moved to Boise and will now be the vice president branch manager at the Meridian branch.
Stanger has 13 years of financial experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management/finance from Brigham Young University – Idaho.
After many years of service to D.L. Evans Bank, Toni Smith has made the decision to retire from her position as the Vice President Branch Manager of the Meridian branch. Ray Parkinson will take over her position.
Parkinson has been with D.L. Evans Bank since September 2007, starting as a commercial loan officer. Just over a year later, he was promoted to branch manager of the Idaho Falls branch, prior to being the vice president branch manager at the Ammon branch. Parkinson brings over 31 years of experience with him to the Treasure Valley area. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Falls Exchange Club, the East Central Idaho Development Corporation, and Idaho Golf Association, and the Idaho Falls Country Club.
