Janessa Chastain named executive director of Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity

Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity’s Board of Trustees is happy to announce that Janessa Chastain has been hired as the executive director. Chastain, a Boise native, most recently worked in Mesa, Arizona, as pastor of a Methodist Church for the past five years.

Chastain will work with the volunteers, supporters, employees and board members to fulfill the Habitat for Humanity mission of building homes in partnership with low-income families in the program.

Tom Lay, former executive director, retired at the end of June after 12 years with Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity.
